Windows 10 new update will brings system sandbox performance

Microsoft introduced the system sandbox feature for Windows 10 in the May 2019 update of Windows 10, which is a very good security feature. When you encounter a possible program or file, you can run it through the system sandbox, and separate it from the real system during testing.

In the Windows 10 sandbox, users can create a temporary desktop environment to run untrusted software and browse suspicious websites to avoid malicious software. At present, the features of the Windows 10 system sandbox are provided in the professional and enterprise editions.

This feature is based on the Windows Container mechanism. For this reason, Microsoft has also customized Windows Container specifically to add support for the real-time operating environment and integrated scheduling to the system.

But at present, there is a problem with the Windows 10 sandbox, that is, when the operating environment of the Container and the real machine will work together in some cases, causing performance degradation, users can perceive phenomena such as slow startup.

To this end, Microsoft has made improvements. In the 21H2 update of Windows 10 coming in the second half of this year, Microsoft will configure a new operating environment for the Windows 10 sandbox, bringing better performance, and adding container mechanism support for tools such as Defender Application Guard (MDAG).
