Google will restrict the Read Application List permission of Android programs

According to the wccftech report, Google will make some new restrictions on developers to better protect user privacy information. According to reports, the complete application list information will be regarded as user privacy.

When an Android application wants to obtain the Query_All_Packages permission, Google will check it. Only when the permission relates to the core function of the application, permission is allowed.

Google’s Definition Of “Core Functions” is:

Permitted use involves applications that must be found on the device for any and all installed applications, because awareness or interoperability purposes may qualify for permissions. Allowed use includes device search, anti-virus application, file manager and browser.

The restriction will take effect later this year, and Android apps that are called illegally or have no declaration will be removed from Google Play.
