Microsoft Surface Headphones commercial version is coming soon

Microsoft’s spring hardware event may be held in the next few weeks, including the Surface Laptop 4 and other new products will debut. According to the latest rumors, an upgraded version of Surface Headphones is expected to appear at this event, but the new headphones will be similar to existing headphones, so don’t expect other hardware improvements or design changes.

It is reported that this upgraded version of the headset will be called “Microsoft Surface Headphones 2+” after it is launched. If you usually pay attention to Microsoft’s hardware release, then this new headset, like the Surface Pro 7+ announced not long ago, is specifically aimed at business users, and theoretically will not be sold to consumers.

It is reported that Microsoft Surface Headphones 2+ will be certified by Microsoft Teams, and in order to achieve this goal, the company will abandon the Bluetooth connection, and instead use a USB dongle to achieve a wireless connection between the headset and the PC.

Microsoft’s goal cannot be simpler: The company hopes to position Surface Headphones as enterprise-ready, so they will be the first step for commercial customers, especially if they are looking for a Microsoft Teams certified product.
