It seems that Microsoft’s web browser Edge has set a record high in the number of users and is the second most popular browser on Windows. Additional desktop users of Microsoft Edge may come from Mozilla’s Firefox.

Since last year, Edge has maintained steady growth and may surpass Apple’s Safari in the next six months. Of course, some users from Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and other browsers are also involved in the process of rising.

According to the report, Internet Explorer’s market share is still 1.7%, and its user churn rate is very slow. It is also worth noting that if you take into account the data from mobile and tablet computers, Firefox’s overall share is still greater than Edge, but it is slowly declining.
