Renamed Mi 11X series and Redmi K40 series is set to launch in the Indian market

Xiaomi plans to hold a large-scale press conference in the Indian market on April 23, when it will launch Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11X, Xiaomi 11X Pro and 75-inch QLED TV. Among them, Xiaomi 11X is speculated to be the renamed version of Redmi K40 in India.

Now, Manu Kumar Jain, head of Xiaomi India, has posted a Tweet of Xiaomi Mi 11X, indicating that there will be three colors of Celestial Gold, Celestial Blue and Celestial Pink for users to choose from.

The Xiaomi 11X to be launched in India should be the Redmi K40 series released in China. The main feature of the K40 series is a 6.67-inch E4 AM OLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch response, and a 3.5mm ultra-thin bottom frame. The machine is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, with up to 12GB of memory and up to 256GB of storage space, which can be further expanded through a microSD card.

Redmi K40 runs MIUI 12 customized skin based on Android 11 right out of the box, and is equipped with a 4520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging and data transmission.

In terms of cameras, Redmi K40 will use a three-camera setup on the back, with the main sensor being 48 million pixels, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro lens. There is a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats, and a fingerprint sensor on the side for security protection.
