The 2nd May 2021 patch rolled out for Galaxy S20 and S21 lineup

Recently, Samsung rolled out May 2021 patch update for its two flagship series – Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21. Now, the South Korean tevh firm released 2nd May 2021 patch for the Galaxy S20 and S21 lineup in Europe and Germany.

We are hope that the next update for Galaxy S20 and S21 series introduced a vulnerability affecting Qualcomm’s 5G modems, but again, the changelogs don’t help to determine whether or not this is the case.

Now, talking about version number, this update can identify by the build number G98xFXXU7DUE1 for Galaxy S20 lineup while the S21 lineup carries G99xBXXU3AUE1 and G980FXXU7DUE1, G985FXXU7DUE1, G988BXXU7DUE1, G991BXXU3AUE1, G996BXXU3AUE1, and G998BXXU3AUE1 for the Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra respectively.
