Google launched Gboard app to Wear OS smartwatches

Many user’s complaints about Wear OS are focused on the slow update and lack of heavyweight new features. However, Google has not completely abandoned the watch system. Recently, the Gboard virtual input method has been adjusted, and the spacing has been enlarged to make it easier to input on the small screen of the watch.

Gboard on the watch side not only enables finger typing but also has voice recognition input, language selection and Emoji input. It’s just that the magnitude of this update is not very large, it is fine-tuned for the tiny circular screen, and the keyboard spacing is larger. Despite the more spacious layout, Gboard on Wear OS still has room for important features, such as a scrolling suggestion list or corrections to what you just typed. There are shortcut keys for emoji and language selectors.

Gboard for Wear OS will be launched in the next few days, but Google says this is just the tip of the iceberg. It has more things this year, which implies that it has a lot to announce at the Google I/O conference later this month.
