Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer business software department and director of the AI and smart full-scenario business department, said at the beginning of last month that Huawei mobile phones will be able to upgrade the Hongmeng system (consumer end) from early June.
In addition, he also believes that mobile phones, Pads and other IoT devices equipped with Hongmeng OS will exceed 300 million by the end of the year. Earlier, Huawei’s vice chairman and rotating chairman Hu Houkun stated that HarmonyOS has attracted more than 20 hardware vendors and 280 application vendors to participate in ecological construction. In the next step, it is planned to launch Hongmeng operating system on mobile phones.
