Google Photos is testing a new screening feature so that users can more easily find pictures and videos. When searching for photos for a specific task in Google Photos, users will be able to search more accurately in the following areas, such as favorites, videos, selfies, collages, animations, movies, creations, screenshots, archives, and dynamic photos.
At present, this feature seems to be still in the closed beta stage that only a few people can access because we cannot see the same screening options from any commercially available equipment and official software. In addition, this feature may not be limited to a specific Google Photos software version, which means that the initiative is still in the hands of Google’s server.

As shown in the figure, when searching for a specific person on Google Photos, the tester can enter the corresponding query content in the App search box to further filter the search results. For example, you can enter someone’s selfie, and then you can see the corresponding content after automatic filtering by Google Photos.
