This year’s I/O conference will announce a major update to WearOS

According to the latest tweet from the official Wear OS Twitter account, Google will update this often-forgotten smartwatch system at the I/O 2021 Developer Conference to be held on May 18. Google even hinted on the I/O Adventure page that it would launch a new Wear OS version.

In the past year, Google has added a new keyboard, supports third-party tiles, and improved performance. The last major design change for Wear OS was in 2018.
