According to the latest tweet from the official Wear OS Twitter account, Google will update this often-forgotten smartwatch system at the I/O 2021 Developer Conference to be held on May 18. Google even hinted on the I/O Adventure page that it would launch a new Wear OS version.

At present, Wear OS has gone through a long and bumpy journey. Although Google continues to enrich its features, the platform does not have more in-depth thinking about the smartwatch industry.
