Android version of Microsoft Office finally received dark mode

According to the latest information, Microsoft finally added a dark mode to its Office app for Android. Although Office apps have been used on iOS and Android for more than a year, until now, only the iOS version includes built-in dark mode support. If you set the dark mode to the system preference on your Android device, the latest Android Office applications will now automatically enable dark mode.

Dark mode can also be switched on the main tab of the Office application. Microsoft said that it will gradually roll out the dark mode of the Android version of Office in the next few weeks, so it may not appear on all users’ devices immediately.

Microsoft’s product manager Sourab Nagpal admitted: “This is a feature that many of our customers have strongly requested. Many people like to use dark mode because they find it provides a more comfortable visual experience for reading and working on mobile devices.”
