About one and a half months after the stable version of Chrome 90 landed on the three platforms of Windows, Mac and Linux, Google opened the push of the stable version of Chrome 91 on Tuesday. First of all, Chrome 91 can freeze web pages in the collapsed tab grouping to free up system resources on the device. Second, Chrome 91 now allows users to automatically launch progressive web applications (PWA for short) when they login to the operating system. Users who need it, can directly enter chrome://apps in the browser address bar, right-click the PWA application to be changed, and select “Start at login”. Other features include: the Chrome browser on the Android tablet will request the desktop version (not the mobile version) website by default, the forms on the web page can be integrated better and more closely, the fake website alert for iOS users (avoid entering saved Password), and DNS over HTTPS (DoH for short) is enabled.
Interested friends can manually check whether the Chrome browser has been upgraded to the latest 91 version by clicking “Settings -> About Chrome” and restarting the browser after the download is complete to complete the update.
