Microsoft is planning to introduce its next generation of Windows in detail at a press conference this month. The software giant has already begun sending invitations to the media for the June 24 Windows event. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Chief Product Officer Panos Pane will both speak at the Windows event. Microsoft’s Windows event will start at 11 am Eastern Time/8 am Pacific Time on June 24th.

Only one week after Nadella announced the news of Next Generation Windows, Microsoft sent out the invitation. Microsoft is expected to detail its next major changes to Windows, and they may include some visual improvements. We look forward to seeing some major UI changes in Windows under the codename Sun Valley. Microsoft’s event invitation even seems to include a preview of a new Windows logo.
Microsoft confirmed last month that Windows 10X, its original operating system for dual-screen devices, will no longer be released. The company is now integrating the visual elements of Windows 10X into the main version of Windows 10.

A lot of visual work has begun the finishing stage, including new system icons, file explorer improvements, and the complete end of the Windows 95 era icon. Microsoft also focused on improving the basic elements of Windows, fixing the problem of rearranging applications on multiple displays, adding the Xbox automatic HDR function, and improving Bluetooth audio support.
Nadella also promised to release better revenue dividends for developers and creators in Windows itself, so we are likely to take a closer look at the upcoming store changes in Windows. In recent months, Microsoft has been developing a new app store for Windows, and there are rumors that Microsoft will open its store to all apps and rival payment platforms.
