Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer BG software department, said in a speech in January this year that Huawei’s goal is to conservatively estimate the installed capacity of Huawei’s own equipment of HarmonyOS at 200 million units, or far more than 200 million units; more importantly, HarmonyOS will also be open to third-party devices, and the conservative installed capacity will reach 100 million units. In total, in 2021, the hardware base of Harmony system’s rich equipment will be 300 to 400 million units.
