Microsoft’s Windows 11 conference is underway, and the company has just announced its new desktop operating system, called Windows 11. Windows 11 will be a free upgrade for Windows 10 devices and will be available later this year. However, computer devices need to meet the minimum system requirements to get this free upgrade. - 64-bit processor
- 1GHz clock speed | 2 cores
- 64GB drive
- 4GB RAM
- UEFI, with Secure Boot feature and TPM 2.0
- At least a 9-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768
- DirectX 12 compatible graphics card / support WDDM 2.x
It should be noted that although this new operating system does not support 32-bit computer hardware, it will be backward compatible with 32-bit applications, so there should be no application compatibility issues.
