Following the submission of applications for the Watch Design Studio and Good Lock trademarks last week, Samsung recently submitted applications for the Media Output trademark to the European Union Intellectual Property Organization (EUIPO) and the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Organization (UKIPO).
The trademark is classified as Class 9, and the description reads Computer software suitable for smartphones and tablets. From the description point of view, the trademark should be applied to software and may appear in the form of APP in the future.

It is not clear what exactly is “Media Output”. Samsung is paying more and more attention to the connection of various Samsung devices, so this application may be related to this and maybe a supplement to the SmartThings application. The difference is that in terms of media output, it probably pays more attention to playing audio and video clips through various Samsung devices.
