According to the latest reports, Microsoft recently released the June 2021 Android system update for Surface Duo. In addition to general operating system bug fixes and enhancements, Google’s latest security patches are also brought.
Microsoft promised to release monthly operating system updates for Surface Duo, and the June update is proceeding as planned. The update will increase the version number to 2021.525.62 (US version) and 2021.525.64 (Europe version).

What’s New In This Update:
- Android Security Update-June 2021.
- Improve the stability of the device and user interface.
The size of the update is only 84MB, making it the smallest monthly security patch to date. This may mean that there is nothing new or changed in this version. For comparison, the operating system update last month was about 197MB.
The update is now rolling out for the unlocked version of Surface Duo. Updates to AT&T phones usually arrive in a few weeks. Surface Duo users can wait for the update to be pushed to them, or download it by checking for updates in the system update section of the settings app.
Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
