Windows 11 Home Edition OOBE guide will force a Microsoft account to log in

Microsoft this week released the first Windows 11 preview Build 10.0.22000.51 to Dev channel users, bringing a brand-new UI, animation, and a brand-new initial setup guide interface OOBE. In the initial setting interface, Microsoft adopted colorful patterns and optimized options to allow users to get better help when using Windows 11 for the first time.

However, according to the latest report, after testing, it was found that when Windows 11 Home Edition was first set up, it would not be able to skip the Microsoft account login like Windows 10, even if the Internet is disconnected.

This means that if the user does not have a network or does not have a Microsoft account, they will not be able to use Win11 on the new computer, and it will not affect the upgrade of the old user. Microsoft does not require users to always log in to the Microsoft account. After completing the guidance process, you can log out of the Microsoft account in the settings and use the local account.

Windows 11 does have more content bound to Microsoft accounts, which can give users a better experience after logging in. It is not clear whether the design is not fully functional in the preview version or whether Microsoft intends to do so.
