Cyberpunk 2077 free DLC not released as originally planned

Forbes discovered that the free DLC promised by Cyberpunk 2077 was not launched in accordance with the established sales window. As shown above, the above is the update plan released before CDPR. It can be seen that CDPR plans to launch various hotfixes before 2021.

The plans for 2021 include 1.1 and 1.2 patches, multiple free DLCs, and the launch of next-generation updates later in the second half of the year. Obviously, we can see that the free DLC is planned for the first half of this year, and the next-generation update seems to be scheduled around October this year.

It is now July, and this small free DLC has not yet arrived. According to Forbes, these free DLCs were originally planned to arrive “early” in 2021, but later CDPR stated that repairing the game was their priority at the time, so the free DLDC would not have new news until a few months later.

This led to the first roadmap in the picture above, suggesting that CDPR will launch free DLC in the first half of this year and the next-generation update later in the second half of the year. However, this plan changed later.

Later, CDPR directly introduced a simple roadmap (pictured below) that could no longer be simpler, which was released at the beginning of last month. The free DLC and the next-generation update are directly mixed together, and there is no clear time point for any of them.
