Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 official app appeared in advance to confirm its specifications and details

Samsung’s Unpacked 2021 event is still one month away. According to tradition, all the details of their upcoming products have been leaked. The latest is about the details of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 true wireless earbuds. Today, the official companion app for this accessory accidentally appeared on a third-party app collection website, confirming the existence of this product and also providing new information.

Developer Tim Schneeberger carefully analyzed the apk file and found that Buds 2 will be available in black, white, gray/green, purple and yellow, among which yellow and gray/green are new surprises. APK shows that this headset does not have a 360-degree panoramic sound feature, the noise cancellation can only be set to on or off, and there is no high/low option. However, there may be an option to enable ANC for only one earbud, which is a feature that Buds Pro does not have. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will be able to connect to multiple devices at once for seamless switching, which is an upgrade to the original Buds.

The APK function confirmed that each earbud has a 61 mAh battery, while the case has a 472 mAh battery, and the charging box contains 2.5 watts of wireless charging capabilities. This is a big upgrade (from 270 mAh), although the actual headset has dropped from 85 mAh.

The new Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 uses a minimalist design and uses a new glossy color scheme. The exterior of the square shell is white, while the interior will match the matching Buds 2. The price of Galaxy Buds 2 is expected to be between 180-200 euros (210-235 US dollars), and the pricing will vary from market to market.
