Apple today released iOS 14.7, watchOS official version 7.6 operating system, etc., but Apple iOS 14.7 recognize the presence of a Bug, may lead to the user with a Touch ID can not be matched by unlocking iPhone to Unlock their Apple Watch.
Apple’s temporary solution to this error is that users can only enter the password in the Apple Watch to unlock, instead of relying on the iPhone to unlock. Apple said this problem will be resolved in a future software update.
Users who have forgotten their Apple Watch password will need to reset their Apple Watch. If corporate users’ iPhones are loaded with MDM profiles that require alphanumeric passwords, they will need to work with their MDM administrator to cancel the password requirements, then unpair, clear, and reset their Apple Watch.
It is expected that Apple will launch iOS 14.7.1 to fix this bug. There is no sign of an iOS 14.8 update. It is expected that there will be only minor bug fixes and updates before Apple officially releases iOS 15 in a few months.
