Tesla signs nickel supply agreement with Australian mining company BHP

As per the report, Australian mining company BHP Group stated that it had signed a nickel supply agreement with electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla. According to latest reports, BHP Billiton in Western Australia’s state of Western Nickel (Nickel West) for the supply of nickel Tesla.

BHP Billiton said in a statement that the company and Tesla will also consider using blockchain for end-to-end raw material tracking and are committed to energy storage solutions. In addition, the company also said that the two companies will discuss opportunities to reduce carbon emissions in their respective businesses by using more renewable energy and battery storage.
