Huawei updated 40 million devices with the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 update

At today’s Huawei P50 new product launch conference, Yu Chengdong revealed that HarmonyOS 2.0 has been upgraded to 40 million users since June 2, which is equivalent to 8 users upgrading HarmonyOS 2.0 every second.

Yu Chengdong promised that in the near future, Mate 9, P10 and other models will also be opened and upgraded one after another, looking forward to more and more users joining the new era of the Internet of Everything.

According to previous announcements, the Mate 9 series and P10 series are scheduled to upgrade HarmonyOS in the first half of 2022, although they are equipped with Kirin 960 chips and have been in service for nearly five years.

Yu Chengdong also suggested that users of these old models can replace the battery and upgrade the memory in the after-sales center to ensure the fluency of the mobile phone under HarmonyOS.
