More than 8,000 Samsung Fans Petition: Skip the Galaxy S22 and directly release the Galaxy Note series in 2022

Earlier this year, Samsung executives made it clear that it would not launch the Galaxy Note 21 this year but promised to provide many features of the Note series in foldable phones. Although Samsung officially did not clarify the fate of the Galaxy Note series, this has caused dissatisfaction among many Samsung fans. They petitioned on the petition website that Samsung will skip the Galaxy S22 in 2022 and directly release the Note series.

This activity was initiated by Sammobile, on the Change.org website. As of press time, it has received support from 8,636 people. It is stated on the petition support page that if the number of people can get 10,000 signatures, the petition is more likely to receive a response from Samsung’s decision-makers.

In The Petition:

So I have an idea: If it will not be launched in 2021, how about launching a new Galaxy Note flagship phone sometime in the first half of 2022? Maybe Samsung can skip next year’s Galaxy S22 series and give us a Note instead? Samsung can keep alive by alternately using all of its flagship product lineups while keeping all fans happy. So, what are you waiting for? Help us pass information to Samsung. We want a new Note, and we hope to get one soon!

The petition did not specify the reason for skipping the Galaxy S22 series, but if Samsung intends to introduce the Galaxy Note 21 or Galaxy Note 22 series to replace it, it should ideally be completed in January 2022. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to finalize a new smartphone design, followed by prototyping, additional testing, and then mass production.

Samsung may have a lot of resources at its disposal, but it does not have the luxury of time. Therefore, if we abandon the Galaxy S22 series and choose the new Galaxy Note models, we may see them as early as the second quarter of 2022. Of course, the South Korean giant will not allow its competitors to gain an early lead in the market through their new products, so the Galaxy S22 series is likely not to be abandoned.
