Google optimizes Chrome search experience

In the recently released version of Chrome 92, Google allows users to choose the Tab key or the space bar, and only the Tab key to customizing the search quickly way. In addition to shortcuts, keyword search also has a new user interface. The Chrome team said that the feature will be renamed in the future, and it is currently working hard to make changes to make it easier to find and use for more people (not only experienced users).

Allow Users To Customize Search

Chrome supports custom search, which is a great way to quickly search for websites from the address bar without navigation. You can assign keywords to websites from Omnibox by visiting Settings > Search Engines > Manage Search Engines. For example, if you set Y as a YouTube keyword in Settings. You can enter Y, press Tab or Space, enter your search content, and then press Enter to access. In version 92 of Chrome, Chrome has added shortcuts to search keywords in the search settings, allowing users to use Tab or the space bar to select.

Brand New UI

There is a new keyword search UI, which does not require keyboard navigation and notifies the existence of keyword search in Chrome. This feature is already available in the stable version. When you enter a keyword in the Omnibox, Chrome will display a button below the suggestion. You just need to click to enter a custom search, enter your search term, and press enter.
