Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 true wireless earbuds released bring noise reduction in a lightweight body

While launching the new foldable flagship phone, Samsung announced the launch of Galaxy Buds 2, the lightest TWS true wireless earbuds to date. They bring new designs and active noise reduction features. Each earbud has three built-in microphones.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 is equipped with dynamic two-way speakers, which are divided into a woofer and a tweeter to ensure a clear treble and deep bass atmosphere. Samsung reduced the weight of each earbud to 5.0 grams, and the total weight of the case is only 41.2 grams.

The three microphones placed in each earbud are responsible for active noise reduction when listening to music and provide impressive call quality. A dedicated voice pickup unit (VPU) helps filter out environmental noise.

Samsung claims that the active noise reduction feature of Galaxy Buds 2 can block up to 98% of noise. The company has also developed an environmental model, equipped with device learning-based solutions that can adapt to external sounds such as cars, wind, and emergency vehicles.

Samsung will provide PC users with a Galaxy Wearable app, which will enable them to set noise control and equalizer on Galaxy Buds2. The headset will also have an automatic switching solution that can seamlessly switch between different Galaxy devices: mobile phones, tablets and notebooks.

As part of the companion app, Galaxy Wearable supports an earplug silicone head fittest, which can help you choose the right rubber head size to get the best sound experience. The case of Buds2 looks very similar to the case of Buds Pro, and its battery capacity is also the same-472 mAh (61 mAh battery for each earbud). The shell is white, but Galaxy Buds2 actually comes in four colors-graphite, white, olive green and lavender.

Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will be on sale on August 27, priced at 149 euros/139 pounds. Samsung will also provide a series of playful third-party protective cases, with designs from The Simpsons, Star Wars, and even protective cases that mimic the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphone.
