Unreal 5 adds a new work Ace Combat 8 developed using Unreal 5

Namco has confirmed that the new Ace Combat is under development, and the development team project Aces will be supported by ILCA. Now, another important detail about the game has been confirmed.

According to the Twinfinite report, Ace Combat brand director Kazuki Kono confirmed that the development team is making a creative and technical transformation of Ace Combat 8 and will use Unreal Engine 5 for development.

Since the official announcement of Unreal Engine 5, many large-scale games have been confirmed to be developed by this engine, including Hell’s Blade 2, Stalker 2, BioShock 4, Rotten Kingdom 3 and so on.
