Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 first firmware update pending arrival on the market

About a week after the arrival of the new Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic on the market, Samsung has released the first firmware update for its Wear OS-based smartwatches. As reported in the official changelog, the firmware update improves stability, fixes some bugs, adds new features and improves some existing ones and improves performance. The update has a weight of about 290 MB and brings the firmware version to R8xxXXU1BUH.

Those who have already pre-ordered the Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 4 Classic or will purchase it in the next few days, will have to download this first firmware update t ramite the Wearable app as soon as it is paired with the smartphone.

Unlike other Wear OS-based smartwatches, remember, Samsung’s new smartwatches include a proprietary One UI launcher that allows for greater integration with the Galaxy ecosystem. The new Galaxy Watches can also synchronize the watch faces with those on the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s external display.

Galaxy Watch 4, we recall, is proposed in the standard version – more sporty, in Active style – and Classic, with the rotating bezel in good evidence that makes it even slightly larger than the other (40 or 44mm the first, 42 or 46mm the second).

All four models are also available in the LTE variant and offer 99 types of traceable activities, integrated GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, customizable dials and a battery that offers an autonomy of up to 40 hours.
