The benefits of FSD opening to more automakers It is that the cost of developing autonomous driving technology for various companies may be greatly reduced, which also makes it more feasible to carry FSD on models developed by other car companies.
Tesla proposed the possibility of opening FSD to other car companies, which in theory may promote the use of this technology in more vehicles, but it is not clear what kind of cost burden this action will bring to consumers. After all, Tesla charges its customers a one-time fee of US$10,000 for FSD usage or a monthly fee of US$199 per month.
