It is believed that this delivery is part of the 8,000 Model Y exported from the Shanghai Gigafactory last month. Local production in Europe is expected to start at the Berlin Gigafactory sometime in October 2021.
In addition to Germany, Model Y is also appearing in Norway and the Netherlands, but it is speculated that Model Y on the European market can only be regarded as an early bird model. Only when the Berlin Gigafactory starts operation in the near future will the market enter the right track.
