Microsoft introduce Windows 11 to compatible hardware in October 2021

Microsoft launched a new generation of operating system Windows 11 in June this year and said that the official version will be released during the holiday. According to various current documents, notices and reports, Microsoft’s current plan is to introduce Windows 11 to compatible hardware in October 2021.

Although Microsoft has not officially announced the launch date of Windows 11, the company recently warmed up an event in October 2021 and believes that the official version of Windows 11 will be launched by then.

At present, Microsoft seems to be planning to release the Windows 11 update in the third or fourth week of October, and some users believe that it will be released on October 19. But in fact, in the next few weeks, Microsoft will announce more information, such as more about the processor requirements of the Windows 11 upgrade.

As we all know, Windows 11 upgrade needs to meet a variety of conditions. In other words, only some devices will receive OTA upgrade pushes, such as Intel’s 8th generation and later processors (Microsoft also said that it is considering 7th generation), while other interested partners need to manually download Windows 11 images for smuggling.

In the next few months, supported PCs will be automatically upgraded to Windows 11 through Windows Update, and other eligible Windows 10 users are expected to receive Windows 11 push in early 2022.

Windows 11 October 2021 release date is almost certain

Microsoft officially stated that Windows 11 will be launched on Holiday in 2021. This time point is rather vague, but a recent Microsoft document suggests that Windows 11 may be released in late October or November. Although such documents do not explicitly mention the date, they do indicate that Microsoft’s current goal is October.

In addition, Microsoft has previously set a date limit for hardware vendors, requiring them to submit new drivers before the end of September. It is worth mentioning that Intel has also confirmed that Windows 11 will be released together with Windows 10 version 21H2 in October 2021, and its 12th generation will arrive by then.
