In WhatsApp, you will soon be able to long-press a message from another person to choose an emoji response. We have known this function for a long time from other apps such as Messenger, Facebook and Google messages, but soon you will also find it on WhatsApp. WABetaInfo knows that.
We are already shown a screenshot of a notification that reveals the arrival of this new feature. That notification states that you must download the latest version of WhatsApp to see responses. In WhatsApp, you have been able to reply to messages for much longer, and then the message to which you are responding appears at the top. Yet it is striking that the service now also receives emoji responses because the basic functionalities of the app, the way you send messages to each other, have not changed for some time.
At the moment, the feature is still in development, and it is not known when it will be available for the stable version and beta of WhatsApp. In addition, the question is whether you will be able to choose from all available emoji for your reactions or just from a fixed series.
