GoPro Hero 10 Black leaks teasing a dramatic increase in performance and resolution

The highly anticipated GoPro Hero 10 Black action camera has been leaked before its official release, allowing the public to see its upgraded design and alleged specifications. Assuming the leak is accurate, the design of the new model is very similar to the current Hero 9 Black, but the company is said to be providing significant camera performance improvements.

The leak comes from the German website WinFuture.de, which reported that GoPro will add a new image processor and new image sensor to the unannounced Hero 10 Black model, increasing the resolution from 20MP to 23MP.

Other technical specifications allegedly related to the upcoming model include support for shooting video at 5.3K/60fps resolution or 4K /120fps resolution. Allegedly, the slow-motion feature includes support for recording 2.7K video at 240fps.

The leaked pictures show a small front display and a larger rear display, as well as the bright blue branding on the otherwise basically unchanged body. As one might expect, the leaked information stated that the GoPro Hero 10 Black will have a high level of durability, including a waterproof structure that is nearly 33 feet deep.

Other alleged features include support for SuperPhoto and RAW images, a webcam mode for those who are not out for sports or hiking, and features such as TimeWarp 3.0, HDR, voice control and touch screen. GoPro has not commented on the leak, and it is unclear when the company will officially disclose it.
