Final Fantasy 7 Remake more likely to land on PC

New evidence of Final Fantasy 7 Remake landing on PC has been exposed. Earlier this summer, the EpicData site found two game indexes in the Epic Game Store database, namely Mind Killer: Remaster and Final Fantasy 7 Remaster. This weekend, it has been confirmed in Mind Killer: Reissue, which seems to have added a lot of credibility to the previous database leak.

In addition, earlier this year, SE and Epic reached an agreement before allowing the Kingdom Hearts series to land on PC for the first time as the exclusive Epic Mall, adding more hope for Final Fantasy 7 Remake to land on PC.

The 12-month PlayStation limited-time exclusivity of Final Fantasy 7 Remake expired in April 2021. However, as the transitional version landed on PS5 in June, the limited-time exclusivity was extended for another 6 months. Currently, SE has not announced any plans to land the game on other platforms.

The transitional version of Final Fantasy 7: Remake is a PS5 upgrade to the game Final Fantasy 7: Remake released last year. It has improved graphics, faster loading time, added photo mode, haptic feedback and Yuffie DLC.

In recent years, Sony has been actively striving for Square Enix’s RPG series. The first release of Final Fantasy 16 is also exclusive to the PS platform for a limited time. Final Fantasy 16 was initially made public at the PS5 show last summer. Last month, the FF16 producer said that SE would definitely want to show Final Fantasy 16 on TGS, but was not sure whether it would be released as scheduled.
