Kindle, Paperwhite and Oasis, with the renewed interface read is even more beautiful

Amazon refreshes the Kindles: no, no e-book reader is coming, this time the e-commerce giant is focusing on the interface, renewing it and making it even more familiar and easy to use. The news concerns all Kindles from the 8th generation onwards, Kindle Paperwhite from 7th onwards and Kindle Oasis.

The update will be released over the next few weeks, Amazon says. With the upcoming features, it will be possible for example to quickly correct the brightness of the display, activate the airplane mode and access all the other settings of the device simply with a swipe from top to bottom – a bit like you do on Android to view the quick settings menu. Navigation is made even easier and more immediate with the ability to switch from the Home screen to the library or book you are reading using the new button located at the bottom of the screen.

And speaking of bookstores, by the end of the year new search filters and menus will be made available, a brand new display for the collections and an interactive scroll bar. In addition, it will also be possible to view the latest books read (up to a maximum of 20) by swiping to the left.
