iPhone 14 series will have three 120Hz panels

According to the plan, the first batch of iPhone 13 will be delivered on September 24 and will be officially sold. However, the iPhone 13 series, especially the Pro models, have continued the hot buying situation. Now orders are placed on the official website, and they are basically unavailable before National Day. Usually, before and after the release of the iPhone 13, news about iPhone 14 surfaced.

Some media have learned from Apple’s supply chain that at least one of the iPhone 14 models will continue to use the LTPS OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate in the screen preparation. In other words, it will be the cheapest entry model. The iPhone 14 series will cancel the 5.4-inch mini and combine it into a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

In addition, the 120Hz variable refresh rate LTPO display of this year’s iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max is all from Samsung. However, LG is expected to enter Apple’s LTPO supply chain next year and become a second supplier. It does not rule out the possibility of Apple mixing the three models.

I believe that through the one-year market test of the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max, Apple will also do better in terms of 120Hz experience and battery life optimization.
