iOS 15: Unable to use Siri to adjust AirPods Pro active noise reduction/transparency mode

MacRumors quoted many users as breaking the news: Apple seems to have introduced a bug in the iOS 15 update, which caused some users to be unable to control the AirPods Pro true wireless headset active noise reduction (ANC) or transparency mode (Transparency) through the Siri voice assistant. Two days ago, Shoddy_Corgi_1894 posted on Reddit that iOS 15 destroys Siri’s noise reduction control function. As a result, it attracted many comments from netizens who also lay guns.

Affected by this, users who connect AirPods Pro to an iPhone running iOS 15 can only adjust the active noise reduction/transparency mode of the headset through the controls in the control center. However, MacRumors confirmed that the problem seems to have been fixed in the public beta version of iOS 15.1 that was pushed on Tuesday.

As the first public beta version of iOS 15.1, this update also ushered in the long-bounced FaceTime SharePlay function. As for when Apple will officially push the iOS 15.1 that fixes this experience malfunction, it is expected to wait several weeks.
