Resident Evil 4 VR is coming to Oculus Quest 2

Resident Evil 4 has set a new standard for survival horror adventures. Thanks to the collaboration between Capcom, Oculus Studios and Armature Studios, players will now be able to relive the unique atmosphere of Resident Evil as Leon is completely immersed in virtual reality.

Resident Evil 4 VR increases the suspense with an immersive first-person perspective that only virtual reality can offer. Players will be able to choose the best way to move around the game environment and explore it while standing or sitting.

It will also be possible to move using the classic analog stick, but Armature Studio has added a complete rig for the upper body of the protagonist Leon, in order to combine his movement with the two-handed interactivity obtained with the Touch controllers. Below is the official trailer that offers a preview of what this immersive experience can offer.

Weapons and items have been redesigned as physical items, so you can pick them up and interact with them, plus you can grab weapons from your body, without having to stop the action to navigate the menus.

Resident Evil 4 VR will arrive exclusively on Oculus Quest 2 on October 21, in time for the recurrence of Halloween.
