Apple officially announced that Apple Watch Series 7 can be pre-ordered on October 8. Earlier, when Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 7 did not provide a release date, pre-order date or price lineup, only that it will be launched later in the fall. New features in 2021 include a larger full-scale display, harder cover glass, and a brighter always-on mode.
The first batch of pre-orders will arrive on October 15th at the earliest. It is still unclear how large the supply will be and how long the arrival cycle of this week can last. The pricing structure of the Apple Watch 7 series remains unchanged, so the 41mm aluminum model starts at $399, and the larger 45mm model starts at $429. Both models can optionally add cellular 5G communication capabilities and require additional payment.

However, the larger display size does not change the compatibility of the strap. The smaller Apple Watch still fits 38mm and 40mm straps, and the larger 45mm Apple Watch fits the previous 44mm and 42mm models. Apple has not added any new health features to Apple Watch Series 7, but it has brought a larger, brighter, and harder display.
The indoor brightness can reach up to 70% in always-on mode. The charging speed of the Apple Watch Series 7 will also increase by 33%. This means that charging for 8 minutes on the new USB-C Apple Watch charger can get 8 hours of use. Users will be able to pre-order Apple Watch Series 7 from Apple’s website and other retailers.
