DICE Officially Stated:

We have heard everyone’s questions about host mouse and keyboard support. We can be sure that when Battlefield 2042 is released, we will not support this feature on the console, but we are still investigating various feasible options and their impact on cross-games. If the situation changes, we will tell you first.
