Google TV will soon add personalized files and watch lists

Google TV is by adding custom profiles, watch lists and personalized Google Assistant help, so that the content of the multi-user family to look for and watch becomes no longer confusing. Previously, Google TV supported the ability to log in to multiple Google accounts so that multiple accounts can be used to use the service. But content suggestions, watchlist functions, and Google Assistant functions are all based on the activities of the primary account holder.

With a personalized profile, each user’s suggestions, watch lists, and Google Assistant’s responses will be customized according to their own interests and activities. Google said that the profile will be launched on Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV with TCL and Sony starting next month. To simplify the experience, any downloaded applications and credentials can be used in different configuration files. The company launched a child profile on Google TV earlier this year.

After launching the profile next month, Google will launch Glanceable cards separately in the environment mode. When this support arrives, idle TVs can display personalized information, such as weather, news and sports statistics, and other information tailored to you. This screen will also display shortcuts to content such as podcasts, music, and photos.

In addition, the mobile remote application of Google TV launched on the Android system last month will soon appear in the Google Home application of the Android and iOS systems. It was reported this week that Google TV has added support for Philo to its live TV tab, which means configuration files, updated environment modes, and extended support for virtual Google TV remote controls, especially for small streaming media.

The remote control of the box will often fall into the seam of the sofa and cannot be found. Compared to previously limited to YouTube TV ($65 per month) and Sling TV ($35 per month), Philo is now the most affordable live TV option for Google TV, starting at only $25 per month.
