AirPods 3 need to be used with newer Apple devices

During the online press conference, Apple finally released the long-rumored AirPods 3 true wireless headphones. However, according to the information on the official website specification page, AirPods 3 will need to be used with iOS 13 at a minimum, and will no longer support the old iPhone, iPad and iPod. In addition to iPhone 6/6 Plus/5s, the iPad mini 2/mini 3 and the sixth-generation iPod touch have also been abandoned by the company.

Appleā€™s official reason is that some specific functions require iOS 13 and a newer version of the iPad OS to provide support, and the above-mentioned old devices lack basic support for audio sharing and other functions. At present, Apple is also offering the new AirPods 3, the old AirPods 2, and the more highly positioned AirPods Pro true wireless headsets. Interested friends can place an order for AirPods 3 from now (shipping starts next week), priced at 179 US dollars.
