New revelations claim that Galaxy S22 Ultra’s rear camera specs have not improved much

What is certain is that Samsung will introduce larger appearance changes for the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones early next year, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra flagship model is expected to replace the prestigious Galaxy Note series. We have already known many details of the machine before, but the latest leaks are mainly focused on the impressive camera specifications of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

After seeing the high-definition concept renderings of the Galaxy S22 Ultra shared by the Dutch technology blog and graphic designers, the well-known tipster Universe Ice disclosed detailed specifications on Twitter.

It is said that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be equipped with an improved 108MP main camera, which is a revised version of the ISOCELL HM3 sensor on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The sensor size is 1/1.33 inches (pixel density 0.8 μm), supplemented by f/1.8 aperture @ 85° field of view.

As for the secondary camera, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to use Sony’s 12MP ultra wide-angle + 10MP @ 3X/10MP @ 10X telephoto lens. In terms of appearance, the previously leaked renderings have hinted that the layout of the rear camera module is similar to that of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but there are still special improvements at the bottom. Most improvements will be concentrated on the software and algorithm processing level. As for whether consumers are willing to pay for such a Galaxy S22 Ultra, it remains to be tested.
