Going in order, on Reddit, there is a rather interesting thread in which several users equipped with the new smartphones of the Mountain View giant, indicate that they have often found themselves engaged in accidental phone calls without even having picked up the phone. One user even indicates that he noticed the call in progress while reading a book and with his Google Pixel 6 with the display facing down.
For some, the accidental phone calls from Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro would be attributable to Google Assistant, but other users have pointed out on Reddit that it has also happened to them in completely silent environments or even during the hours of sleep.

In another thread on the Google Pixel community, a couple of users wrote that the phone kept calling the same contact over and over again (they were forced to delete it from Google Contacts), while others managed to dodge the bug by disabling the functions of Google Assistant from the lock screen.
To date, the US company has not released any statement about the bug of accidental calls with Google Pixel 6/6 Pro, but we will keep you informed as soon as there will be more news on the matter.
