Instagram recently rolled out several new features into its mobile app, such as text-to-speech and voice effects for the Reels, and now it turns out, thanks to Alessandro Paluzzi, that the company is still testing the option to allow finally users to choose which posts they want to see in the main social feed of photos.
Instagram tests a new option to filter posts in the main feed
The current Instagram feed shows a mix of new photos from the accounts the user follows and also some posts from other accounts suggested by the platform. With the new option, users will be able to choose whether they want to see only posts from people they follow or accounts marked as favorites.

This week Instagram made some changes to this hidden option, which suggests that the feature is still slated for a public release. The social network has also worked to improve live videos and will soon offer the possibility of adding moderators since currently, only the user who started the live is able to manage it. A moderator’s main purpose is to help the moderator manage comments.
