Cyberpunk 2077 is preparing to cross the doors of Xbox Game Pass?

A little less than a year after launch, Cyberpunk 2077 could be in the pipeline on Xbox Game Pass and playable via Xbox Cloud. No, no mistake: according to one of the latest Microsoft promotional materials, in fact, the CD Projekt RED game should soon reach one of the two services.

Let’s go in order: we already know that there is a partnership between CD Projekt RED and Xbox for Cyberpunk 2077. The re-reveal of the game took place during the E3 2018 show on the stage of the conference organized by the Redmond house and in addition, the developers produced a controller and a console (Xbox One X) themed for the game.

Until today, however, the arrival of the title on the Game Pass has been pure speculation, but the video published yesterday, which announces the arrival of Microsoft’s cloud services also on consoles, contains a short clip of the game. The movie is available a little further down and after a few seconds, it is actually possible to glimpse V (protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077) fighting with some robots.

This is a real gameplay scene, already used by CD Projekt RED is one of the gameplay videos that was released just over a year ago. We obviously do not know if this is an error or not, but it is certainly strange that a scene from a game, technically not yet available on Xbox Game Pass, has managed to “sneak” into a promotional video.

Many Reddit users see Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Xbox Game Pass as quite possible. Maybe on December 10, 2021, when the title will turn one year after the official release. For others, however, the game could only arrive when the next-gen update is available. Speculations, for now, could find ground in the next few weeks, so we invite you to take everything with extreme caution: we will update you if there are further indications on the matter.
