[Update: Resume] One UI 4 update for Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 now suspended

After the One UI 4 update was suspended now the company resumed rolling out the stable One UI 4.0 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in South Korea. Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 grabbed this update on the build number F926NKSU1BUL4 and F711NKSU2BUKL respectively.

Samsung’s latest One UI 4 making a lot of trouble for the Z Fold3 and Z Flip 3 owners. Users are reporting that there are many bugs and issues were found while using One UI 4. Following that the company has now decided to suspend the update rollout while it takes the necessary steps to iron out the problems.

Few users after getting stuck tried the recovery mode to make it done. User reports out of South Korea included bricked devices, app crashes, screen flickering and slow performance.

All signals that Samsung has plenty of work still left to be done before the update is ready for a wider rollout. Samsung employees have provided online support to affected users in dealing with the issues.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 sports a 7.6-inch AMOLED display which has a higher resolution of 2,208×1,768, along with HDR10 playback and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC plus ample RAM and storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 also supports Samsung’s S Pen ‘Fold Edition’ and the new S Pen Pro. It’s also now IPX8 rated for water resistance. Samsung’s own apps are already optimized for multi-window use but the company has also collaborated with others including Spotify for better experiences on the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
