A few months ago, when Apple Music announced its support for lossless and Dolby Atmos, Apple stated that it would start with support for 20 million lossless songs, and by the end of this year, all of its 90 million songs will reach lossless quality.
As of December 28, Apple seems to have reached its goal. Although it is not possible to confirm whether Apple Music’s 90 million songs really support lossless audio, after searching a large number of artists, foreign media could not find a single, EP, album, or collection that does not support the lossless format.
When Apple announced its support for this higher-quality audio, it caused a lot of controversies because users cannot play lossless content through AirPods. Not only that, even AirPods Max cannot perform lossless streaming media transmission, even with wired connections.
