Samsung registered Odyssey Flex/Ark trademark or used in new game monitors

Following the discovery of the Samsung Odyssey Acro trademark last week, Dutch technology media LetsGoDigital once again discovered that Samsung has registered the two trademarks Samsung Odyssey Flex and Samsung Odyssey Ark in the UK. Obviously, Samsung is actively expanding its Odyssey gaming product lineup, and it is estimated that these two new trademarks will be applied to new gaming monitors.

These two trademarks were submitted by Samsung to the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) on December 29, 2021. Both trademarks are classified as category 9 and described as computer monitors, computer screen monitors, tablets, televisions.

Both Odyssey Flex and Odyssey Ark trademarks may be applied to the display. Samsung often uses the name Flex – for example, think of the Galaxy Book Flex 2-1 laptop. Presumably, the Samsung Odyssey Flex is a multifunctional device that can be used in different ways. However, the details of this aspect are still unknown.

Of course, it can also be a monitor or laptop with a flexible screen. Samsung Display launched a series of new Flex OLED displays in November this year. The company also demonstrated a 17-inch foldable laptop during SID 2021. However, before Samsung can actually bring these products to the market, it is likely to have some development time.
