A new OxygenOS 12 update – C.40 – for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro just started its roll-out. In this update, the company concentrated on solving the issues that were most reported recently, including the failure to connect to 5G in specific scenarios as well as the system upgrade failure some of you were facing. This update has reached a few users already and will continue to roll out incrementally.

The OnePlus 9 Pro is a legitimate flagship phone that is genuinely competitive with the best Android phones on the market — at least from a features and quality perspective. According to official news, the official OxygenOS 12 stable version update released for the OnePlus 9 series, and many optimizations and adjustments have been made.
The highlights of OxygenOS 12, other than the rebase to Android 12, are a few new quality of life features and improvements, such as the always-accessible Shelf from the notifications bar. Since this is the stable release, we expect this to roll out to all users over the coming week, unless any major bugs are spotted.
